Well hello there! I typically only share recipes on the blog, but lately I’ve been thinking it could be kind of fun to share important insights to life…like what TV shows I’m watching, or pictures of kitchens that I want, but can’t afford, or just thoughts about certain things like how I now drink coffee all day since having a baby. Sounds kind of fun right?
So first, COFFEE. I have never loved coffee more in my life than I do at this very moment. I’ve been drinking coffee ever since Des Moines Iowa got a Starbuck’s back when I was in high school. I literally woke up EARLY as a high school student to drive to Starbucks to get a skinny vanilla latte and blueberry coffee cake – every.freaking.day. I am not joking. The obsession continued through college, but today I simply enjoy a cup at home. Since having a baby, I now have two cups of coffee a day which I know, is totally normal. I drink it in the morning because I NEED it and I have a cup around 3 or 4pm because it just sounds nice – it’s definitely for comfort and relaxation at that point in the day. Are you a coffee drinker? If not, you’ve probably left this page by now…
Moving on…so should I start watching Scandal? I need a show just for me.
I have been going on like 3 walks a day. I LOVE it and don’t want it to end. The weather has been so so nice here and Raya Mae and Izzy Bear love strolling around. In fact, I have a picture to show you how much they love it. Raya just laughs and giggles and wiggles the entire time. She loves it! 😉
ha ha…no really though, she does like it. This picture is just hilarious and I had to share it. Izzy Bear in fact does really like to be strolled around. We put her in there because we were at the farmers market and they don’t allow dogs to walk up and down the aisles and she totally dug it. She now goes up the stroller and actually wants to be put in there. I’ll take it!
I want my nails to look like these!
I have been trying to exercise since having the baby as well – definitely need to strengthen back up again. I pretty much did nothing while pregnant (whoops). If I am blessed with another babe, I will definitely be exercising during that pregnancy – advice to all those who are pregnant, exercise!! Obviously don’t overdo it, but I think it helps with aches and pains. My back and my hips started to hurt and I am pretty sure it’s because they were weak. Anywho, one of my goals is to tighten my legs and I found this workout on Pinterest. It’s gotta work right?
So, have you been making all things pumpkin? I have not. Eek! I put two cream cheeses out on the counter to soften the other day and then had to put them back in the fridge because I never got to baking pumpkin bars. That’s ok right? To take them out, bring to room temp and put them back in the fridge? Uuuhh….
I freaking love Fall. Pictures like these just make me jump up and down.
I want to drink coffee in those chairs.
And I want that Harvest sign for the front of my house. Gosh Fall stuff is so darn cute.
How fun are these heels? I want them! Can’t go wrong with black heels, I tell ya. I love heels that wrap around the ankle too..they actually stay on.
