This cozy indulgent Creamy Sausage Pasta is what you should make for dinner. It’s not complicated at all and is oh so delicious. It’s the perfect comforting dinner recipe for a cold night with a glass of your favorite red wine!
It’s now October and all I want to cook is comfort food. Comfort food to me is pasta…all day long! You can’t go wrong with a creamy tomato sauce and then adding crumbled Italian sausage just makes everyone happy. This recipe is salty, a little spicy, and packed full of warm herby Italian flavors.
And it doesn’t take long to make. It comes together pretty quick and before you know it, dinner is on the table!
You know me, I am not a complicated cook when it comes to making a meal for my family. This is a cheap yet filling meal that my entire family enjoys…even kiddos! Italian sausage is a secret ingredient because it’s already seasoned and full of flavor. Cooking it down with tomatoes is a wonderful way to use it and this pasta proves it!
I added heavy cream to this recipe, but you don’t have to. You can also just put a touch of it in to smooth out the sauce a bit, but if heavy cream is not for you, that’s totally okay! I do love how it turns the sauce orange…pretty appealing to the eye! But that’s just me…
I sure hope you enjoy this wonderful comfort meal as much as we do!
