Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 1¼ cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup butter (1 stick), room temperature
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 1½ cups milk chocolate chips
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a non-stick baking mat.
  2. In a medium bowl mix together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In a stand alone mixer fitted with a paddle attachment cream together butter and peanut butter until thoroughly incorporated and fluffy. Mix in egg, vanilla and milk scraping down sides as necessary. Next add both sugars. Finally, slowly mix in the flour mixture just until incorporated. Stir in chocolate chips. Measure 2 tablespoons of dough and place on baking sheet. Bake 13-15 minutes. Don't over bake! When it doubt, text one first to get the baking time right. Let cool on a cooling rack.
