Goat Cheese and Sun-Dried Tomato Crostini
Goat Cheese and Sun Dried Tomato Crostini Recipe Type : Appetizer Author: Jessica from www.stuckonsweet.com Prep time: 5 mins Cook time: 7 mins Total time: 12 mins
  • Goat cheese
  • Sun dried tomatoes, chopped
  • Balsamic glaze (store-bought or you can make it)
  • Fresh basil, chopped
  • Italian or French bread, sliced
  • Garlic powder
  • Olive oil
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place a cooling rack on top of a cookie sheet; set aside.
  2. Drizzle olive oil on bread and dust with garlic powder. Bake in oven for about 7 minutes or until toasted and crispy. Let cool slightly before adding goat cheese.
  3. Add goat cheese to a bowl and warm in microwave for 15 seconds, stir then spread goat on each piece of bread, top with sun dried tomatoes, drizzle of balsamic glaze, and fresh basil.
  4. To make balsamic glaze, pour ½ - 1 cup (depends on much you want to make) unto a sauce pan and place over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and turn to low and simmer until thickened. Watch carefully so it doesn't burn!
I did not provide amount of ingredients as it depends on how much you want to make. You can use as little or as much of each ingredients as you would like. I prefer a lot of everything. Also, refer to the recipe links in this blog post on how to make balsamic glaze.
