Cherry Pineapple Dump Cake

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 21 ounce can cherry pie filling
  • 1 20 ounce can crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, melted
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x13 baking pan.
  2. Spread cherry pie filling in the bottom of the greased baking pan.
  3. Next, evenly spread the crushed pineapple on top of the cherry filling.
  4. Then sprinkle the yellow cake mix over the pineapple.
  5. Next, evenly pour melted butter over the cake mix.
  6. Finally sprinkle coconut and chopped nuts on top.
  7. Bake for one hour. Let cool before cutting. Enjoy as is or with cool whip or vanilla ice cream.
