Green Power Smoothie

Serves: 2 smoothies
  • Handful of fresh spinach (more if you would like)
  • half of an avocado, skin removed
  • 1 banana (preferably frozen)
  • 1 green apple, cut into chunks (preferably frozen)
  • 1 kiwi, skin removed (preferably frozen)
  • 1-2 tablespoon chia seeds (I used 1 tablespoon)
  • ¾ cup coconut water (or your favorite juice)
  1. Add all of the ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth.
If you are able, prepare the fruit (banana, apple, & kiwi) and freeze it. This will help make your smoothie nice and cold. If you are not able to freeze, your smoothie will be warm which you can then chill in the freezer for 5 minutes if you would like. You can also add additional green ingredients such as cucumber, kale, or green bell pepper - just note it may change the flavor slightly.
