Hey! I’m back again with my favorite partner, Produce for Kids, to tell you about their Power Your Lunchbox Promise campaign. It runs August 7 – September 7. Take the Produce for Kids Power Your Lunchbox Promise to make healthier lunches this school year. For every promise made $1 will be donated to Feeding America® to help in an effort to solve hunger among children and families.
Feeding America® is a non-profit organization that fights to end hunger through a nationwide member food banks. For every promise made, $1 will be donated to Feeding America® which will provide 10 healthy meals to families. Please make the promise today! During the 2017 campaign, over 48,000 promises were made which provided over 500,000 meals to families in need! As you can see, this campaign is effective and makes a large impact on the fight against hunger. Again, all you have to do is make the promise which entails giving your first name, clicking “I Promise” and your email. It costs you nothing, you become part of ending the fight against hunger and you have access to amazing recipes for your kiddos!
Produce for Kids provides tons of lunchbox recipe ideas for us to make this promise even easier to make. I personally love this Butterfly Bento Box. Simply use cookie cutters to create a fun healthy sandwich and snacks for kids.
