We’re talking about the good stuff today.
By good stuff, I mean wine. You may have noticed a link on Stuck on Sweet called “The Sweet Stuff.” This is where I will be sharing my….welll… stuff. I will be sharing things like my favorite restaurants, food/beauty products, WINES, etc. etc. I am excited to start sharing a little more about me with you…be afraid, be veeeerrrry afraid.
Today I am sharing one of my favorite wines with you, Meiomi Pinot Noir! I had no idea about this wine until a visited a little place called Maui. Vin and I spent a week in Maui on our honeymoon – it was amazing and I truly miss it, like every day. Our resort gave us a $50 wine/champagne voucher at one of their restaurants (how nice right?) so we decided to get a $64 bottle of Pinot Noir called Meiomi. Now we VERY rarely ever spend $64 for a bottle of wine but with our voucher it really only cost us $14 – winning!
It was amazing, we both took a sip and I immediately snapped a picture with my phone so we wouldn’t forget. My favorite part about it – it’s so easy to drink. It’s smooth, a little sweet, a little spicy, just perfect.
Meiomi comes from three different vineyards from Monterey County, Santa Barbara County and Sonoma County. It’s full of rich, berry and spicy flavors and again it’s so smoooooooth. Ugh I could have a bottle, I mean glass right now.
Just to let you know you can find a bottle for around $20. Not too bad right? Better than the $64 in the restaurants. 😉
I actually found it on sale at Mariano’s – 15% off if you purchased 4 or more. I purchased all of them.
So if you’re looking for a yummy wine to bring to a party, or give to someone as a housewarming gift, or just enjoy a glass yourself…this is your wine. It’s delicious, and from experience, it doesn’t leave a headache which makes it the BEST WINE EVER.
I spy a puppy named Izzy. Do you see her? She’s always up in my business, especially when there’s wine around.

I bought the Meiomi Pinot Noir 2016 and didn’t like it. I guess I’m more towards a sweeter red wine than this one. This one has a hint of spice, smooth, but not sweet at all.

I love red wine and keep a list on my phone of the ones I like. I’ll have to find this one so I can try it.
