Hello there, check these balls out!

Chocolate oatmeal energy bites with dark chocolate chips, perfect for healthy snacking and sweet cravings. Made with wholesome ingredients, these bites are a delicious treat from Stuck On Sweet.

This is one of the most interesting “cookies” I have ever made. There is no butter, sugar, flour, baking soda, vanilla…nothin in them. Weird right? Yes, I think so. The recipe calls for bananas, oats, peanut butter and chocolate chips – actually kind of healthy! I had no idea how these would bake or taste but I had to find out.

Chewy homemade oatmeal chocolate chip cookie dough balls with oats and chocolate chips, perfect for snacking or dessert. Made with wholesome ingredients and a delicious, hearty flavor.

Out came these browned round cookies. I was intrigued…I honestly thought they would melt out everywhere.

They taste just like the ingredients – it’s really amazing. First you taste oatmeal, then peanut butter, then chocolate and the banana is the underlying flavor – at least this is what my soon to be father-in-law said. Vin said the same thing….like father like son. 🙂

The cookies are chewy and dense, a little like eating oatmeal but in a ball, no? To be honest, I prefer a cookie made with butter, sugar, eggs…all the fixin’s’ but for only 4 pretty healthy ingredients this cookie is worth trying. It makes me wonder what other cookies I can bake without butter?  Probably won’t happen too often, but I’m willing to try a few more.  😉

Now go have a WONDERFUL weekend!
