Peach Pie Smoothie

May 29, 2016

If you’re looking for a healthy smoothie. This Peach Pie Smoothie is for you. If you’re looking for a healthy and kid-friendly smoothie, this Peach Pie Recipe is definitely for you!

Today is about the kids!

Peach Pie Smoothie | www.stuckonsweet.comI have partnered up with Produce for Kids (PFK) to bring you this delicious Peach Pie Smoothie today! Although, this recipe is seriously so easy, delicious and nutritious, the highlight of today’s post is about educating families about healthy eating, providing simple recipes (hello Peach Pie Smoothie!) and raising money for children’s non-profit organizations.

PFK does just that! They brings grocery retailers together to educate consumers about healthy eating while raising funds for organizations like Feeding America and many other local organizations that need help. Since the inception in 2002, PFK has donated more than $5.7 million to children’s charities nationwide. They run several campaigns a year and I’m excited to announce that they have teamed with Meijer from May 29, 2016 – June 26, 2016 to raise funds for Jump for Jill.

Jump for Jill is a rock n’ roll nutrition show that uses dance and music to educate children about healthy eating and to get them moving. How cute is that? To date, the Jump with Jill show has been performed 2,500 times for three quarters of a million kids across the United States, Canada & Europe!

I am so inspired by this organization! I grew up dancing and would have loved Jump for Jill. Please visit their website to learn more, watch videos and dive deeper into how they educate children – you will be impressed!

Peach Pie Smoothie | www.stuckonsweet.comSo how can you get involved? It’s incredibly easy, simply shop at your local Meijer store and purchase the brands that are supporting Jump for Jill through Produce for Kids! Most likely, you would have purchased these products anyway, but now you can meal plan ahead of time and make sure these get into your grocery cart! You can view the list here and below. I am a HUGE fan of Marzetti salad dressings…just saying.

Dole Salad’s packaged salads

Earthbound Farm Organic – Organic Mixed Baby Kale

Green Giant – Klondike® Rose & Red Potatoes

Grower Direct – California Cherries

HMC Farms & Sunset West Fruit Company – California Peaches, Plums & Nectarines

Marzetti – Refrigerated Salad Dressings

Sunset – Compari® Brand Cocktail Tomatoes

Shuman Produce – Vidalia® Onions

Well Pict Berries – Strawberries

There are several recipes on the PFK website using the sponsored brand ingredients that you should totally try. I made their Peach Pie Smoothie and again, was very impressed. It’s a recipe that your whole family will love and feel good about. There is no need to make separate meals for your kids – make your meals together and eat them together…just doing that will teach your kids to eat healthy and enjoy healthy foods!
