My sister often orders from a delicious breakfast place near where we live and one day she asked if I wanted something. As I was looking over the menu, I came across Caprese Avocado Toast and thought it sounded good and healthy. So here I am! Sharing this simple recipe idea with you!
I’m aware that this recipe is so simple that I probably don’t even need to write it out, but the idea is that it’s an idea! I am always thinking of what to make and an avocado toast combination is always a winner. This classic combo is pretty much good on anything and it’s especially delicious on avocado toast. I do have to say that the balsamic glaze is what takes this recipe to the next level so I highly suggest purchasing some! You can use it on all sorts of recipes – on top of chicken, a drizzle on your steak, a drizzle over your ice cream even! It’s tangy and sweet and a great addition to your pantry!

- 2 pieces of whole wheat bread
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 4 slices of fresh mozzarella cheese
- Fresh basil leaves
- 1 avocado, mashed
- balsamic glaze
- salt and pepper
- Toast bread
- While bread is toasting, smash avocado then slather it on both pieces of bread. Top with tomato, mozzarella, balsmic glaze, fresh basil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
