Happy Monday to ya.

Sweet red grapes topped with crumbled blue cheese, chopped pecans, and fresh herbs in a white bowl, perfect for salads or appetizers.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend. We spent the weekend going out to dinner, celebrating Grandma Leta’s 80th Birthday, and watching the Bears WIN! A very successful and fun weekend if you ask me.

Grape Salad Ingredients

I have been asked to share more side dish recipes with y’all so here we go!

Remember this honey mustard chicken I posted last week? I thought I would spice the meal up with something a little different than a regular side salad. So I made this grape salad instead! I just so happened to have all the ingredients on hand. I love when that happens.

The key to this salad is sweet red grapes. Ya know when fruit sometimes lacks sweetness or juiciness – just not a good batch?  Not these bad boys, they were perfect for this salad – crisp, sweet and juicy. I sometimes purchase produce at Trader Joe’s and have never been disappointed with the flavor, plus it’s affordable – winning!

Grape Salad

Just chop and mix and your salad will be ready to go. Quick note – add walnuts (or other nuts of your choice) right before you serve to prevent them from getting soggy.
