It’s that time of year – Christmas time! Have you begun shopping? I sure have. I am trying to get ahead of the game this year so that I have all the gifts wrapped and ready to go at least a week before Christmas so that I can enjoy that time with my family doing festive things like making cookies, watching movies, etc.
This year I wanted to share my personal gift guide with you – these are items for everyone! Ideas for husbands, wives, children, parents, siblings, significant others, etc. Many of these items on my list are gifts I have already bought or received and truly enjoy. Hope this helps you during your holiday shopping!
KIDS:
Melissa and Doug Wooden Scoop Ice Cream Counter – I find that most Melissa and Doug toys are wonderful – they create open ended toys the children can truly get lost in and use their imagination. I bought this for my 3 year old this year and I think she’s going to love it!
Melissa and Doug Grocery Store – This a bigger gift that we bought for both of our kids, ages 5 and 3. They have played with this toy at other peoples homes and love it. Another great open ended toy that triggers imagination and pretend play. I also like to have some “bigger” toys for when we have friends over to help encourage role playing with each other. I also feel like this toy will last forever for all ages.
Polly Pocket Unicorn Large Compact Playset – I saw this and thought it would be a great gift for my 5 year old niece. I love that it closes and everything can stay inside. I can see her playing with it in her room or at the island. Plus, what 5 year old doesn’t love unicorns this days?
Mr. Sketch Scented Markers – My 5 year old has been asking for “smelly” markers so I bought these for her stocking. I think she will love them.
Unicorn Bff Erasers – I thought these would great stocking stuffer for my 5 year old – she tends to erase too hard using a pencil then the eraser breaks off. I don’t see these bad boys breaking. Plus they might keep her busy writing and erasing, writing and erasing. 🙂
Rock and Mineral Education Kit – I had one of these when I was little and I still remember playing with it to this day. My girls love finding “cool looking” rocks so I thought this would be a fun gift for them – great set for them to learn about rocks and also have a space to organize them.
Fujifilm Instax Mini 11 Camera – These are so fun! My 9 year old niece wants one and I think she would love it. How fun for her to take pictures with her friends, of her hamster, etc. and print them out. Love this gift for her!
ADULT GIFTS:
YETI Rambler 14 oz insulated Mug – I actually want one of these! I am a coffee drinker and I love to drink out of an actual mug but my coffee ends up getting cold and I have to reheat it like 400 times, especially if the kids are around. We all know how wonderfully insulated the YETI products are so I am definitely want one of these for my morning cup of Joe!
Stella and Dot Delicate Short Charm Keeper Necklace – How cute is this? It comes in silver, gold and rose gold. My mom mentioned this to me and I think it’s a great gift for a friend, sister or mom. You can get the letter charm to go with it.
Beauty Counter Lip Gloss – I am huge fan of beauty counter – I use quite a bit of their face products. I have been eying their lip glosses – they would be great gift for friend, sister, mom or daughter.
Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Blanket – This may not seem that exciting but this blanket is everything. I was gifted this from my friends and I am obsessed. It’s the most comfortable and stylish blanket, ever. It’s stretchy and forms around you. I cuddle up with this every night.
NEST Fragrances Classic Candle (Holiday Scent) – I was also gifted this candle and it is amazing. It smells like Winter/Christmas and the designs are fancy yet cute. I’d love to smell other scents!
Sperry Men’s Cold Bay Boot – I got these for my husband’s birthday and he loves them. An all over great winter boot to wear out, play in the yard with the kiddos, snow blow, etc. Can even wear them with jeans and they look nice.
Under Armor Sportstyle Terry Jogger Pants – My husband loves Under Armour and their jogger pants are so cute and comfortable. He wears them almost every day and on the weekends – can’t have too many of these!
A nice bottle of wine or cigar – here are some suggestions that my husband and I enjoy! You can look at your local liquor store for pricing.
- Bonanza – California Cabernet Sauvignon. Around $20.
- Caymus – California Cabernet Sauvignon. Around $80
- CAO Cigars – my husband likes the Amazon Bison
- Aging Room – Quattro Nicaragua Maestro (they don’t have a website, but your local cigar ship will probably hold these. It was rated the #1 cigar of the year!)
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
